| NEW CONSTRUCTION HOUSE KEYS: We will take the keys for the property to the title company prior to closing. They will be given to the buyer upon closing the loan. The home is currently on a master key. Once this key is inserted into the door knob, it will trip the tumblers and no one else will have access to the home again. Helpful Hint: When setting up closings, try to make it a practice to always close on any day EXCEPT Friday. Friday traffic is always horrible, and we don't want anyone more stressed than they have to be right before closing. Also, if any documents are incorrect, not included, or need to be changed, we still have a working day to correct what may need to be changed. This way the buyers can still move in over the weekend. This simple little practice has saved us a lot of problems over the years! Also, if a buyer moves into the home on a Friday night after hours, and ANYTHING is wrong with the heat & air, electric, plumbing or hot water heater, we do not have weekend folks to help out! Buyers need to be able to be in the home BEFORE the weekend to make sure everything is working properly. |
